Proposal Prepared for Nona Social Bar + Kitchen September 2026

Brand Refresh

Lake Nona's best bar. Time everyone knew it.

This isn't a rebrand. The name, the mark, the menu and the regulars already work. This refresh gives Nona Social a website, a feed and an inbox that match the bar people already love, so it gets picked first when Lake Nona goes out.

A smoked old fashioned on the bar at Nona Social keep the good stuff

The problem

Great bar. Quiet brand.

Everything that makes a great neighborhood bar is already here: scratch food, 13 drafts, a real cocktail list, trivia, bingo, every game and a 2AM last call. The brand just isn't saying it loud enough.

01

Not known as the best bar in Lake Nona

Ask around for the neighborhood bar and Nona Social should be the first answer. Right now the website, the feed and the lack of an email list don't back it up. People who haven't been in yet have nothing to go on.

  • Website doesn't show the vibe, the drinks or the weekly lineup
  • Social posts don't look like they come from one place
  • No list, so first-time guests have no reason to come back
02

Losing bar nights to restaurants

Lake Nona has plenty of places to eat. When people want a night out with drinks, they still default to a restaurant because that's what they see online. Every one of those nights is a table Nona Social should have filled.

They wantA bar nightdrinks, a game, their people
They pickA restaurantbecause it looks like the safe bet

The approach

Refresh, not rebrand.

We keep what people already recognize and tighten everything around it into one system, so every screen and every post reads as Nona Social at a glance.

What stays

  • The Nona Social name and logo mark
  • The menu, the drinks and the house sauces
  • The weekly lineup: Trivia, Dirty Bingo, game day
  • The regulars and the "Nonahood" feeling

What gets sharper

  • One palette, led by Nona Orange
  • A type system: bold headlines plus a handwritten voice
  • A clear positioning: Lake Nona's local
  • The same look on the site, the feed and in the inbox

The strategy

Three levels. One brand.

Each level builds on the one before it. The website makes the case, social keeps Nona Social in front of people every week, and email turns a first visit into a regular.

  2. 02Social mediatemplates + structure
  3. 03Email marketingtemplates + welcome series

Level 01Foundation

Website redesign

with updated branding

The website is where people decide between Nona Social and somewhere else. The new site leads with the vibe and answers the bar-night questions right away: what's on tonight, what's to drink and how late you're open.

  • Refreshed brand system applied across the site: color, type, photography and voice
  • Bar-first homepage with "Lake Nona's Local" positioning, live open-now status and the 2AM hours up front
  • Full kitchen and bar menu on the page, not a PDF, so it's readable on a phone and searchable on Google
  • Game day and weekly lineup sections for Trivia, Dirty Bingo, College GameDay and Football Sunday
  • Parties and events inquiry for birthdays, watch parties and team happy hours
  • Email signup that feeds the welcome series in Level 03
  • Local SEO basics: structured data, page titles and descriptions written for "bar in Lake Nona" searches

Solves: first impressions. Someone deciding where to go tonight sees a bar worth choosing, not just another place to eat.

Level 02Top of mind

Social media

templates + structure

A feed that looks like one place and posts with a plan. Reusable templates make every post quick to produce, and a weekly structure means there's always a reason to come in this week.

  • 9 on-brand post templates: photo overlay, menu hero, price callout, event poster, game day, story and party formats
  • 5 content pillars so the grid never repeats itself
  • A weekly posting rhythm built around the lineup that already runs
  • Caption voice guide and a hashtag set: #NonaSocial, #Nonahood, #LakeNona
DrinksFoodWeekly lineupGame dayParties

Solves: staying in the conversation. When a group chat asks "where are we going?", Nona Social is the one they saw this week.

Level 03Bring them back

Email marketing

templates + welcome series

Social media reaches people who follow you. Email reaches people who've already been in. The list starts on the website and the welcome series does the work of turning a first visit into a habit.

  • 3-email welcome series, written, designed and set up to send automatically
  • 4 campaign templates: menu feature, late night, private events and game day
  • A mobile-first template in the same type, color and voice as the site and feed

Solves: repeat visits. A new guest becomes a regular before they've had time to try the restaurant down the road.

How it works together

Found. Followed. Regular.

01

Found

Someone searches for a bar in Lake Nona or taps through from Instagram. The website shows a bar worth choosing and asks them to join the list.

02

Followed

A steady feed of drinks, game day and weekly events keeps Nona Social in front of them whenever they're making plans.

03

Regular

The welcome series gets them in the door with free fries, and monthly emails give them a reason to come back and bring friends.

More regulars means more reviews, more tags and more word of mouth. That's how you become the answer to "best bar in Lake Nona."
